#129. Dayre? What Dayre?

Keep it all together / Fake it until you eventually make it.

I know there've been a crazy lack of posts - been updating more often on my dayre now because I like blogging on-the-go and somehow I find Dayre easier to update. The only downside tho, :-( I have to chop my posts up into chunks because there's a word limit per update meh. I love their stickers! Brings life into the posts. Hahaha! I guess now a days the update only happens pretty frequently over on my right bar >>> where the Instagram is being updated every few days ;-)

Here's a snippet of my most recent post!

Day 138 : Sorry but the position of The Best Boyfriend is taken.

Today's such a great day because there was my love, Beewee Chia, good food and happy things to talk about. :-)

He even sent me all the way to CCK today, it was close to midnight and I didn't want him to miss transport home :'(

We're only getting stronger as time goes by. Seeing you still feels like the beginnings of our r/s, it just never gets old. I'm my truest self when I'm with you.

No one has seen me more annoying, more retarded, talk about crazy deep topics, share my deepest fears, my ugly past more than him. He has seen the most unglam side of me, the weakest and seen the side of me with the most vulnerable of emotions.

Yet he still constantly tell me things like "no you're beautiful, you don't even need makeup! smile more! You face tough times but you still pull through just fine!"
I don't think I'm only girl on earth feeling this way - but if you're attached and you can relate

Cherish him.
He might be here for you now
- but if you don't work as hard as he does on the relationship, the spark will eventually start to die off. Can't emphasize enough. I know for a fact that guys don't want to tend to princess tantrums all the time, show a little appreciation as time go by. It's really more than enough.

We've had our little rough patches where we'd quarrel, argue through sleepless nights, throw tantrums and it just wasn't smooth sailing for us all the time.

One fight and my mood can be ruined the whole day - until the matter is solved. I've heard from some friends they can tell right away when something is up: cos my expressions are easily written all over my face.

But after all of that - we grew up. Learnt a little give and take, learnt how to compromise.

I remember those times when I used to be so involved with school - participating in everything I can in BA, plus NRA commitments, juggling work at Gelateria at that time too. It was almost madness - holidays always packed to the brim: sometimes only able to squeeze out an hour or so after dance training to fetch me from school and to have supper.

It was only when he went on internship and I realised what it was like, to wait till then end of the day just to talk for a little and then

He'll go to bed soon after without much conversation.

I then really understood what he meant about commitments, and spending quality time together etc.

I'm just really glad we've made it this far - even if we have grown up and we're not the exact same people we were (almost) 2 years back, you're still the most amazing guy that has walked into my life and not thought once about leaving.
HEHEHEHHEE ok enough with the mushy mush mush, on to the yummy food I mentioned!!! Go eat at Lenas (we were at JEM - price rly comparable to Manhattan fish market AND do go early - yesterday's weekend dinner time had this mega long queue) if you want yummy affordable in HUGE PORTIONS pasta/grill/ICECREAM AHHH I LOVE ICECREAM

We're really big eaters but seriously we just couldn't stuff the generous servings of yumz so we went straight to Baskin Robbins for icecream (yes cos dessert will always belong to an additional stomach)

What a g8 day :-)))))))))

Recently found a thing for Braids. :D
(Don't mind the bugger on my nose, been there for at least 5 days now. You guys, I never pop my pimples. Yes. Never. Ever.)

Year 3 has been pretty hectic thus far (Have I been saying this way too often?!), feels as though there's barely any time to settle down or fool around in the first few weeks.

Kinda miss year 1 and 2 where although there was substantial workload it was all pretty manageable. However, I'm really super thankful for the group that I've somehow found myself in. I feel like we could really work together and gel. I don't feel as though I have to handle all the workload single handedly and that there are people I can split the job with and have it done well.

Love it! That's the point of being in a team in the first place.

They make the painful journey less burdensome. :')

"Thinking to myself, what have I done to have deserved you."

Hi my love, this wont be a post with just "one line about you :-(" hahaha
Haven't seen my boy in school today, always hope somewhere somehow I'd bump into him. It really makes my day :-) Today's just one of those days when I don't - maybe tomorrow? :-)
He's been a sweet heart lately, showing me with so much love I doubt I can ever repay.

We're passing the Big 2 soon, wishing for a good celebratory something because we never really used to do anything much. Just wanna express how glad I am to have him in my life.

I love you so so so so very very very very much my Beebz, from your pure heart right down to your little oreos. (Aww beebi!!!!!!!!! I wanna hug you now teehehehehe)
Be mine forever.

*spam love*

Till my next update

I've been seeing alot of people using dayre recently and am sooooooo tempted to jump on the bandwagon and revive the blogger in me. Then I thought like, I'm such a lazy lazy person I might or might not be able to keep up with it. LOL. I guess I still will do it just for novelty's sake, gotta get on top of all the social media huh. That's teenagers for you in 2014.

Well anyways the only people that still keep up with my blog are those whom are very close to me, and its pretty much a private one - so dayre could be an alternative to twitter and instagram. Like a cross between. Yeah ;-)

It's been a long long long while since I've updated... Geez. Looking forward to laying out my thoughts and putting them into words where I (and my dear boyf who has been religiously stalking my space here and consistently reminding me "BEEBI YOUR BLOG. STILL EMPTY.") can look back on :-) I love my boyfriend. HAHAHAHA. Qt pie.

I've missed blogging and I'm here to give it a little life. (hahahaha sad sad abandonment) It hasn't just been my blog actually - recently I slowed things down over all my social sites: Tumblr, Tw, Insta, and don't even mention Facebook LOL I don't even know whats on there anymore. Wanted to stay low for a little bit and just lead a quiet peaceful minus the internet hoo-haa life.

Now that it's the hols I've a little more time to spice things up abit! I remember saying I'll put in a little more commitment into blogging by using the app, but seriously tho, the feel is very different. Like on the app I barely get that ranty feel. I prefer typing away on a physical keyboard!

I notice I'm not so into things that I used to be, like blogging now becomes slow and uninspiring. I used to read through books from cover to cover in a day yet now I find myself renewing my books cos I don't find that drive to complete my books on time. Is this part of growing up HAHAHAHA hitting the big "2" soon it's scary. Exaggeration there.

I can safely say that I'm about halfway through holidays now? I just really wanna point out that this particular 2-month (more or less) break truly feels like one. I've been couping myself up at home, spending time catching up with old friends including the chingay girlfs & my secondary school clique - Mostly keeping those people close, if not closer to my heart. :-)

Used to busy my holidays packed morning to night either with a part-time job or to head out all the time, get involved with camp prep and all that razzle dazzle - guess not this time round.

There hasn't been much of a drama lately and when I say drama I mean friendship drama, relationship drama & family drama Thank God. Just savoring the smooth days when I get to enjoy 'em. Before the stressful periods start collapsing on me and I sure know they will come sooner or later. Just taking baby steps to learn how to prevent and repair damage. :-)

My favourite photo of us.

I believe that it isn't easy to find someone who complements you in every way, is patient enough to smooth out all the bumps in a relationship and even when we don't see eye to eye on certain matters - it definitely wont be for long cos we always work things out. Recently a close friend said she's been telling her friends about my relationship with Stanley, saying things like how its admirable how we've got such great communication. It's true, it's never a bed of roses yet all it takes is just a little more deep breaths and second chances. With him, it is so *sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo* supa damn hella worth it. There is no chance we'll be driven to a breaking point. Not a snowball's chance in hell. :-)

Had a recent staycation + been spending just lots and lots of quality time together - physically and emotionally, it does alot. Bottomline: He just makes me a very happy person and I hope I do too. :-) Every little thing he does, sharing things he sees, making time for me, telling me I look beautiful without caking on makeup, it's every little thing about him that makes me wanna hold him forever close to my heart.

You're my firework display in my darkest days, I love you Beebi Chia - Father of our soccer team children and Mi Counsellord.

Beebi Chia: Sk8er Boi

Shiny eyes! *.*
(our matchy matchy clothes day, from top to bottom!)

Lipstick stains! :-*

Starting my 2014 with you.

One of our other multiple matchy matchy clothes days. :-)

Hey dear! ♡

Haven't updated my blog in ages so I thought I'd update a little bit to rid this blog of it's DUST (hehehe) It should be a little more meaningful than a FB Message/Text to wish you happy 1 year 7 months :-)

It's funny how (yesterday) we just went through one of the craziest blockbuster-worthy episode of catching-a-run-away-spouse + your damn rude reaction on the bus + the afterward musings of if-i'm-any-guy-i'll-breakup-with you (honestly that hurts and i rembr that the most, and also the first time you said something like that in the whole of our r/s) but it's - like always - a two sided experience.

One we can learn from or one that can break us. I guess like you said - it does make us stronger. We're seriously one weird yet long lasting couple huh! People see us in one way, but in actual fact we're coming out opposite of what they assume. No wonder we have no friends. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

This month has only been the first of the year, but sure has been pretty damn hectic. Been busy with this and that, we hardly spent time together and it sure has taken it's TOLLOLLOLLOLOLLLLL on us. :-( Pray we'll learn how to deal with this and that we learn to understand each other's POV better.

It isn't nice to feel you slipping away.

So let's not mention the B word to loosely in the future and be a little patient with each other. :p I thought you were going to force me to use your phone by now! But seriously. It's kinda like a lil too late. Already getting a new one next month. :-)

Anyways, here's wishing you a wurly wurly happy 1 year 7 months and more adventures (wink wink) to come! I lovey you! ♡

"After A While"

After a while
you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't always mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't always promises
and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and and your eyes ahead with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much
So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers
And you learn that you really can endure, that you really are strong and you really do have worth and you learn and you learn
with every good-bye you learn.

This was typed on the 28th September 2013 (Australia date + time)

Some alone time while in the bus along the way back to Brisbane airport, time check 8:00pm exactly ☺️

It's been a pretty long day, in fact the longest out of all the 6 full days (minus 2 due to flight + traveling time) since I was up since 4:30am to catch Surfer paradise's sunrise. Beautiful.

On the first day, we visited some of the city "landmarks" like China town and Mount Coot-tha. The weather was pretty warm that afternoon but everyone was happy here. The view was breath taking, and the company was fun. It was funny how Amanda started taking her scorpion shots and everyone started imitating her! It became a photo thing! Hahaha hilarious! :p Especially when the guys can't do it but still force themselves to.. Not getting there guys haha.

I really liked it there and we got to head to UQ to have a school tour and speak to some seniors from NP there. It made me realise that graduation is actually pretty close and in just a year's time I've to make an important decision whether to further my studies in a university or not. Life isn't always that one-way route Singaporeans are so used to, take your education, study and get a job.

It's important to do something you love and are passionate about, and with that I'm not so sure which sector I'd like to be in when the future comes knocking on my door. Maybe I'll do something completely different from tourism? Who knows, life is ever changing.

Went around the area near the mall to sneak some shopping but prices were a little steep!

The next few days we went to paradise resorts, factory outlet shopping, wild life sanctuary Currumbin, Jupiter Conrad, super bee, today 4 wheeled drive, dream world and lots of other places to view the attractions and accommodations.

In the nights, we'd go to the arts fair, have our little pizza/wrap parties and just chat till we're tired. Watched silly reality tv shows like Pimp my ride and haven't felt this happy away from my comfort zone in a long time.

I still missed my boyfriend a lot though! Half of me wanted to stay so bad, the other half wanted to leave ASAP so I could return to my loved ones. The worst thing was probably when everyone had internet access here, uploading and updating instagram all the time, or being able to contact each other and etc.

The only time I could have internet access was in the nights along the hotel's lobby, where connection isn't really the best nor where it's the most comfortable. But oh boy so I look forward to it so bad because I miss my dear boy so much. Even if I'm having fun and my days are usually packed with activities that keep our minds occupied, I still missed my boy at the back of my mind. How I love him so, distance do make the heart grow fonder.

In Australia, I'm always together with a clique of 9 others. They are people made up of familiarity and unfamiliarity. Weird mix huh? Half were from my class (my project group mates) and I wasn't really super close to them from the beginning but I believe this trip has brought us closer by giving us a heap load of opportunities to chat and all. Really happy.

I do wish I get to do these this with my boyfriend too, because it would be just perfect. When we went to play with the beach water one afternoon, I wished so bad Beebz was there. The water was really cold splashing on to my feet, sand so soft and warm, Ben and Jerry's ice cream melting in my mouth and sun beating down my back. Seeing couples everywhere made me miss him so bad.

People in Aussie could be super polite but also racist at times (can't fault some, they were high on alcohol) but their personalities draw me in so much. I want to lead their sort of laid back lifestyle where everyone's good with everyone (at least they start off being really good) and not like Singapore where everything's stressed and fast paced and all in a mad rush.

I love their dressing style, their accent, their country's amazing and I'm sure my dear boy would enjoy as much as I did. Oh how I wish he could be there.

On the boat when we headed out to sea to whale watch, I wished he was right next to be bobbing up and down choppy seas, and warming me up when my goosebumps appear because he's my little boyfie cutie pie + my portable heat warmer! Hahaha!

At Mount Tambourine I wished I could have taken the 4 wheeled drive with Beebz and watch the scenery within the mountain as we ascend the steep terrain in the little bus. Plus play with the cowboy whip thing and the boomerang! :) The whip gave me a bruise on my lip though, ouch :(

There were many Kangis and other animals, even little dainty shops lining the streets but the best was still the activities like whipping and boomerang throwing. (If I was jay-z.. 😋)

When I was at Dreamworld being afraid at the rides, I wish he was right next to me taking all the rides and experiencing everything with me. Oh how I wish I could..

When I shop, I could just imagine if Beebz would say "Aww you look fluffly in it!" And give me that little cheesy smile.

Everything I do here, I wish in my heart I could share all the experience with my dear boy. 😔

It wasn't easy for me to spend 8 days with completely (ok almost) no internet and with people I'm not too familiar with. Other than my ex-classmates.

For the rest, I also got to make friends with them, and they're really an awesome bunch. Three cliques. coming together and having this much fun, it's really nice to experience once in awhile.

I'm turning 18 in 4 hours aussie time, and the whole group of them actually came up with a surprise for me, cake + candles and all, TOTALLY UNEXPECTED seriously mostly because I didn't think they'd bother because it was only the night of 27th sept and I was really touched. Was tearing at the door of Hazel's hotel room when I kept knocking and they wouldn't open, I thought they were intentionally ignoring me lol bcos they were talking and laughing really loud (planned haha) this bunch.

When they sang the birthday song is was so shocked I just like 😱

Hahaha they are such a nice bunch.

I do realise to they each have different people they really cared about as a true friend. Like Casia, Yu xuan and Lynette. Keryang and all, Isabelle, Michelle and the other guy idk! For tabs and crystal it's Ariel and the rest in OIP. Even Yongchin has been constantly contacting other chinkys during the break and I haven't.

Maybe I'm not a good friend? I don't know..

I'm only close to Mariah and I just realised I haven't bought her much. Will pass her some stuff from the trip. But I guess it isn't about what I buy that shows my sincerity as a friend, it's about how much I'm willing to do for them.

Not exactly the most excited for this upcoming semester because I'm separated from my comfort zone, other than Casia and chin, but I'll try to engage into a proper friendship with the rest since they are easier to talk to. Some I do have to be wary.. But we'll see. Really don't have a lot of familiar faces. In the second half I have IS and it's separated from Stanley :( I was so sad! But no choice got to deal with it! Sigh!

My fingers are freezing from typing this little message for about half an hour now (still haven't gotten to the airport yet HAHHA going to sleep in the plane so much. I can't wait to see my baby boy!!!!!!!!! Beebz I miss you so much I need to feel you! Been apart from you too long, need a HUG RIGHT NOW I'm so cold!)

Don't think anyone would remember it's going to be my birthday soon or bother as I'm sure they're all going to be so tired out.

I only wish for my love's company when I'm back, that's all. Can't wait.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hahaha hello everybody!

I'm back, suddenly got the feel to start blogging again! I know I haven't been updating this space, just too darn lazy most of the times hahaha. But well when I update my blog out of the blue it's usually because I'm really sad/stressed/super excited or feeling something extreme, so yeah I guess it's a good thing this page isn't filled with sad posts just as yet! My life haven't been very happening lately but i'm just glad to say everything I've been blessed with (Danzation opportunity, the reopening of school, friends and everything) have been pretty manageable. :-)

To continue my blog post from where I "left off", I actually had quite a simple legal 18th celebration this year. The highlight was getting to see my dear friends & lover boy once I got off the plane! I was also surprised on flight which was quite a unique experience! Tell me who gets to turn 18 on the plane with cabin crew singing birthday song for you? HAHAHAH!

I slept for the most part of 29th Sept but in the night my boy took me to this trampoline place! It was kinda interesting and I successfully managed to execute a few flips here and there but I just couldn't land right (almost, once or twice!) Maybe we'll be coming back again someday. :)

After that the days went by in a blur, and suddenly school's started. Been pretty busy with Red district lately, training real hard for Danzation. I've been a little worried over school work though, I haven't spent much time studying or even having enough time to work on my tuts. I know time will run out quickly since I've to make time for dance in my everyday schedule. Gotta work on it and not let my grades fall.

We had a review of our results today and SQTR was revised as a 2 Credit Unit module rather than 4. It's a good news for me, because overall my gpa went from 3.333 to 3.3429 hahahah (what in the world right doesn't make much of a difference) but then okay I shan't complain because most of the people around me, their Gpa all fall because they did well for it and the weightage is lesser now. See? Sucking in April Ng's module actually has it perks sometimes. LOL no its not a perk actually since their GPA is still much higher than mine -_- I'm WORKING on it!

Braces had been quite a pain in the a double asteriks because I just removed my 4th teeth and now my upper canine is connected to the braces. It juts out a little making me feel sooooooo self conscious whenever I smile now. I just can't wait for it to start movie so I won't have to deal with that embarrassment any longer! :'(

Danzation's senior junior item has been *pretty* dang stressful because I'm being put in centre when there are many other better dancers than me. I'm working hard for the choreography and I must say we all look clean right now! Can't wait to amaze the audience ;)

Beebz have been really sweet lately *when he's not falling asleep while I miss him*, we're meeting up whenever I can make it and spending some good quality time (so so so much needed) i love you dear if you're reading this! :) x

Alright, I've got Law tutorial to work on, gotta go!

Cheers! :-)

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been updating my blog recently :-( I miss it... So I'm back to rant, mostly about.... BRACES! :p

Hahaha okay la my teeth aren't that straight yet but I do hope they'll look this good once they are! ;-)

So I mentioned in my previous post that I've gotten my braces done! :) :) :) I never blogged about how the experience has been though! It's been 2 weeks and 2 days into braces, and honestly right now I won't remember I have them if I don't think about them hahahaha I'm so used to them already! :D

{Rewind time a little!}

Before braces itself I had x-rays and impressions of my teeth done. Getting X-rays of my mouth area was sooooo awkward bcos the doc just puts you in a room, exits and shuts the door while leaving you inside with a really creepy beeping machine and your mouth open in awkward angles with plastic pieces in them to hold the position!

Getting the impressions done made me wanna gag so bad, basically they put gooey pink stuff on a horse-shoe shaped metal piece and stick them right into your mouth and press really hard! Voila! I was so afraid they'd yank teeth out bcos it really felt as though the hardened goo was putting alot of pressure on my jaw! Heh heh!

Braces day (16 July) came by really quickly! The whole ordeal took 2 and a half hours T-T I was so frightened, sitting outside the dentist really made me tremble a little! Beebi made it so much better staying by my side although I know that he too is afraid of needles/extractions and all that but hey!!! I was the one who has to go through the sheer terror first hand!

When the dentist called me in I was super nervous, them telling me I need to - and then don't - and then need to (again) to get my teeth extracted made me even more nervous! They first stuck on the brackets with a minty glue with a syringe and then they put on the brackets one by one. After that, they made me open & close my mouth a few times to see if any of the brackets were in the way with my bite. After what feels like a long time (haha the ortho was also like "okay finally" LOL) he carried on with extracting 3 teeth!

So I sat there terrified.. Oh I forgot to mention! Before bonding the doctor took alot of pictures lol and he used a stretchy plastic thing to hold my mouth open and it was soooooo uncomfortable! While I was horrified, Beebi just sat there amused watching everything hahaha that boy..

So he got my mouth numbed up with what felt like.. 5 - 6 jabs? I kept closing my eyes and saying silent prayers haha the first jab didn't hurt too bad but whoa those on my lower jaw really did hurt quite abit! :-( He then went on to use something like a plier and started yanking my teeth out.. Okay I shan't reenact the whole procedure now bcos I have one more teeth to extract and I don't want to freak myself out! OR MY READERS so let me spare you the mental picture!

I headed home with a sore jaw (and a mask) and I couldn't speak, thankfully Beebi managed to understand what I was saying LOL even I myself only hear mumbling and I guess only he can make out what I was saying. Way to go Beebz! :p

Here are some before pictures without braces!

And afters! :)

(The next morning after getting braces, I had it done from 6:30pm-8:30pm on the 16th)

My first braces instagram photo haha on the 3rd day I think!

Really thought I was smiling unnaturally in some photos because my mouth was so sore! :(
These photos were taken when the pain was alot more bearable and when I could finally start eating "normal people food"! Hahaha! There was so many times when I had to sit through lunch watching everyone eat and I'm like :( there's nothing here I can eattttttt :(

Our first anniversary at DOME :-)
Dearest sobbu gaga sunshine gal hahahaha.

Kindzone was held on the 4th day of braces and gosh was it hard to talk to strangers and collect surveys geez!

Just today by the pool after swimming with my dearie!

The first 4 days of braces (16th July - 19th July) was absolutely horrid, I was no where close to getting any food into my mouth. :( Beebi dear went with me to go grocery shopping for some really soft foods, like yogurt and campbell soups :-(

It gets worse.. I couldn't drink even from a straw because my whole mouth was super sensitiveeee! I guess the best part of braces was having guilt-free icecream all the time! Hahaha, but then ice-cream is sweet and my ortho told me to stay away from sweet foods bcos teeth may retain bacteria more easily than without!

But y'all know what.. I'm gonna do E V E R Y T H I N G the ortho says so I get to see results quickly!!!

Hahaha me being self-disciplined. :)

Really thankful for the people who told me their own experiences and assuring me that it gets better, bcos it really does! I can eat KFC now BAHAHA. To the people who replied my tweets when I was all panicky and wondering if it was normal that the metal was causing so many cuts and ulcers, you guys made me feel so muchhhhh better.

Went to thread my brows for the 2nd time and this time round it didn't hurt so bad! :p Charis went with me and it was her first, but that brave girl didn't shed a single tear omgahh hahaha. Her brows look so much defined rn! :)

I have officially 18 more days to my first paper! So glad I scored a number of As in my assignments/tests thus far and I hope I get a good gpa this sem! :-)

Yay for AD for Kindzone! :') My first ever A with a distinction hahahaha

It's August right now and there are 5 months left of 2013! Gonna make them all count :)
Next month is going to be exciting bcos it's my birthday and I'm most likely going to be on a plane when it strikes midnight and I turn officially 18! HAHAHA how exciting is that! I can't wait to go to Australia! :')

Till next time! :)

This post is dedicated to the one who has spent his past few days trying to accommodate me and be there for me at all costs. Thank you Beebi. ♥♥♥

Just a few days ago, I was really caught up with Flashmob and all that jazz and I feel that it is really came down to a huge waste of time.. I never meant for it to end like this; cancelled. But I guess there's no going back now. You stayed with me through one of the evenings, be silently by my side even when you didn't have anything to do then. I really appreciate that :')

Having gone to the zoo together really adds not only to our photo collection hehe but also our little memories together :D I'll update this part some other time when I'm on my lappy!

Another thing, I was pretty stressed up over CEM test around the weekends and I read appreciate how my little sweetie accompanied me for so long in the library just the day before the test and ensured I knew what I was learning! It was so productive and I never felt more blessed to have him by my side, being there for me when he knows I'll definitely have a meltdown if I'm left alone.

Even when I went home, he was still kinda "there" for me because I was studying and he was up clearing his bedroom. Speaking over Skype really helped me not to give up studying for CEM and it really helped alot, made it feel as though he's close by. ♥

Then earlier this week I had my braces done and he was with me and he tried all sorts of ways to distract and comfort me saying that everything will be fine. It really felt so much easier having my boyfie around really, I'm alot blessed than so many many many girls out there. :'D

Today was record breaking. He waited almost 2 hours just to wait for me to finish settling some issues with the class. (Some major issues) I really didn't I tend for the wait to be that long.. The poor boy actually fell asleep in the cold dark classroom alone waiting for me to have dinner.. And guess what? Because I'm still on my 3rd day into braces I can't eat hard food, he actually made the effort to call his uncle, ask him where to get good porridge, have mashed potato and awful porridge at Texas Chicken and Canton Paradise respectively at Star Vista just to accompany me. :) how sweet is that? I just want to hug every cell of him and te him that "Beebz, I really can't imagine life without you."

Favourite thing to tell him now, "Beebz.. Ee for me! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE shark teeth! ♥" haha aw. Missing my cuddly wuddly xiao sha gua hehehe.

Okay la that lazy pig has gone to sleep already. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day :D Kindzone event tomorrow, it's got to be a success! :D
#122. Limits.

Are principles ever significant? Or only to some occasions?
I'm not smug or obstinate, I just own this aspect of my personality grown over the years as a teenager and I never expected more than respect for my decisions.

I don't think I understand how I am special due to my values yet the same people engage in contrasting social gatherings from time to time. Or am I just confused by the way I'm " too stuck to my own beliefs and impressions of such gatherings, nothing can alter those thoughts about them no matter how hard you try".

Am I the only one, or does anyone know what it feels like to want the best for someone, yet that includes the person engaging in activities you don't exactly like? Even if it might be engaging with the littlest intent, he is regularly present at such social gatherings?

But then again, what if he is already making changes in his lifestyle telling you hey I don't club or intoxicate myself with alcohol because I've never really liked it from the start anyway. At least I won't do it infront of you. You know that it is totally inevitable for him to be himself around his friends (probably feel really odd/spoilsport if he doesn't participate) or avoid the whole drinking situation.

He's just gonna have to do it. HAVE to, because that's just the kind of company he's always always always gonna be surrounded by. Not just once a year, but at least a few times every couple of months. Not that the regularity actually matters but the fact that he's gonna have to comply with an "at least" for every birthday/special occasion gathering. It could be any loved one. Your father, your son, your boyfriend maybe even your brother.

There's no completely going against it like; hey man I really don't wanna have a drink at all, let's do something else or I'll have something else 'cause it just will not work everytime.

Say, during a party for his cousin's/friend's birthdays where they think alcohol is such a big deal now they're 18/is a yearly "tradition"/is just so cool you can't get past birthdays without saying "yea man I got so drunk I kissed 5 girls last night, check out my picture". I mean, you know what really? Totally not cool at all. Just look at yourself, is that some sort of consolation? I mean it is pitiful to see how people resort to such ways to feel a little better about themselves, I don't want to judge but it's really just how I see things from my point of view.

Maybe, I'm just really obstinate about the idea of drinking/social drinking/whatever-way-you-put-it drinking. What's wrong? You're not gonna get drunk. It makes the birthday person happy, gives you a little pride boost whatsoever, but what do you lose?

I know of friends who detest the taste of alcohol. Wine, beer, vodka, rum, gin, tequila, brandy and none ever hit the spot when it comes to taste. They say even for a start, they actually wished they could have just a sugared drink or anything non-alcoholic just to down the awful taste. They pretend it taste good though, why? To fit in. It's like "Here, have some more bitter gourd, come on, everyone's having it it's cool, at least have a little bit."

How much does a night at a bar cost? Or how much does a trip to a liquor store cost? They definitely do put a dent in your wallet. What do you get in exchange for the cost? Looking like a fool? Getting nauseated or suffering from a splitting headache? How is it worth it and putting the horrible taste into the equation, are you honestly just paying to suffer or feel uncomfortable deep down inside yet have to pretend what a great time you're having despite all that you've to go through?

Or do you feel rejected for not drinking? How much do you mind your friends judging you for your decisions? I know I'd definitely have more fun to be among friends who are sober because being the only sane one in a drunk circle is no fun at all. There is an undue social emphasis placed on drinking and I think that the clarification of friendships is really important. It will forever be a poignant reminder of how many accidents happen when people binge drink. I know it, I've seen it for myself.

Should I even mention the physical effects alcohol causes? Because it's so self-evident what intoxication causes and what's the worth of it anyway? Alcohol does have the tendency to bring out the bad qualities of people and taint the experience for others, instead of providing the mere amusement when they start losing control of themselves. The novelty of being relaxed and losing inhibition will wear off, so quit focusing on getting high because you know the after effects really do suck.

What if it's me? I know I have taken a sip of alcohol at a friend's birthday party, but it was honestly a taste kind of sip cause it was absolutely disgusting. They said it had some sort of fruit ingredient in it plus Vodka. So I tried just that tiny bit to see if it's bitter still. Yep, that one decision I made = You also drank during your friend's birthday, it's the same concept.

What if you're 18 now and all they ever do is just rounds of drinks from maybe short rounds of games round the table. But think about the same group of people perhaps 5, 10 years down the road. Do you think it'll still be like that? I mean, consider how big of a deal drinking is to them. You think they'd take in the same amounts year after year? I doubt it. Then what about you? Are you going to be pushed into, "every year you also drink, this year at least finish this whole cup" or something like that, you think anyone can avoid that? "Show face" to what extent?

I'm not saying I expect my loved ones to completely stay away from these people, because they are everywhere. I know it is impossible for him to find friends who aren't drinkers. I want him to be happy, I want him to feel accepted by his group of friends. I can only sit and watch because they "promised" and probably one or two people were getting pissed off.

I don't know how much longer my principles can last me. I wish I can just delete all the bad memories I have with drunk people, or the things I know that happen to people who drown themselves so much with alcohol they lose their senses and commit stupid actions. How comfortable would you feel if I have to be caught in situations like that with my friends every 1 or 2 months when their birthday comes around? When I say "Oh I'll drink a little just to show some face and I promise no more after that." and return to tell you how drunk all my other friends were. Would you not be afraid one day they might peer pressure me to drink? What if you know that I can't handle alcohol? What if I pass out and something irreversible happens with another person? Does it not scare you, even for the littlest bit?

I know it is so much that I'm thinking too far about. But you know, sometimes more that "just a little sip" goes through my mind when you attend gatherings like that. But I can't do anything, and hope that someday maybe these will come to a standstill at some point.

Or maybe we are just different and I have to come to terms and accept it.

It's been a year.
A. Whole. Year.

It's honestly really amazing how time have flown by, 365 days has just passed like that since that day when we sat down and talked things out together, and when we made the decision to follow our hearts you were bounding up and down so happily towards your train home from CCK. It always brings a smile to my face knowing how that one decision never ever had to cause the hefty heartbreaking price to pay couples face in the end. This far, I truly believe in having already found the right one for me. I may be young, Beebz. But I really do hope you're the right one.

I believe at that point in time you merely thought that it was going to be like your previous relationships where nothing was really taken too seriously. Sure, you told me there was one or two you were serious about, but I'm really really glad that we've made it this far, and that I managed to create the change in your perspective of relationships.

Remember that night when I was so afraid? Afraid I couldn't accept another role in my life, afraid I couldn't keep up to the expectations of a girlfriend or that I just wasn't ready to fall head over heels and to start anew. I told you I don't expect that the feeling between us might last more than the duration of the camp. I told you if I loved someone I will try my best to do whatever it may take for me to make things work out, that I never get involved with a guy absentmindedly or for the sake of relationship thrills.

I was wrong about how it was only 'a camp thing'. But you know what beebz?

I'm so so so so glad I was wrong.

How do you look on our relationship since the very first day we were together till now? So many adjectives come to my mind to describe the thousands and myriad of feelings that overwhelmed us. There were times when we were dizzy with happiness, filled with joy, or in bad times over taken by frustration, disappointment, worry or fear.

The start when everything didn't feel quite right and when bits and pieces finally start to click, struggling to make time for each other, our countless petty arguments that weren't all that important. The late night FB chats, phonecalls and silliness.

Dear, I really just fell more and more in love with you as each day passed.

I remember us walking around Marina Square with my friends on the day of the Blogshop festival, and you were acting so coolly the whole time hehehe. Ofcourse, I remember how you were sweating like mad while we were waiting to get in, the girl with the American accent where I bought the red cardigan from. The crotchet pullover which you told me you had one as well.

How you were telling me the place looked different cause you used to go there clubbing. How you tired to hold my hand, how it felt so right yet I just didn't want to rush into anything just yet. How you just walked off and I panicked. How we saw the dreamcatchers and told me you were afraid of them, how I'd asked you to tell me three things you can't stand and I'd tell you mine in a feat for us to get to know each other better.

Who knew marina square was also gonna be the place where you'd meet my mom for the first time and I'd eat with your family and aunt/uncles/cousin too?

Remember our little photo taking session at MKP, how we'd fb chat till late at night. Those were one of my favourite memories, squirming around in bed with all you sweet little messages. Remember how I lost my phone not once but almost lost it twice? How we cabbed to find the girl who found my phone?

I remember studying with you, being the hero in bstats hahaha wink wink and heading to nic's to chill and study.

All those times we tried to make studying for exams bearable, how I'd always always nag at you to study because you've got so much potential you shouldn't trash.

Remember when I first visited your gramz? We were having lunch at Clementi mall and you just called her and told her I was coming over. You have no idea how nervous I felt. I remember meeting your parents for the first time I was sooooo scared they wouldn't like me.

Remember when you first took me to meet Deryl and he shook hands with me? Hahaha yes. It was at Orchard Central's 310.

Remember our first school concert at NYP, then NP's danzation?

Remember how we'd watch videos on YouTube and I'll forever laugh at the same things and never get sick of the same jokes?

Remember the period of time when I had to work and it was so difficult to meet up? Remember the night we were "supposed to celebrate my birthday 7 days in advance" and you just wouldn't come to me? I remember every single word you told me that night, including all your plans and stuff and how I ruined so many things you said you planned.

I had dance at Orchard but I felt really shitty and offed my phone feeling completely useless, then I finally gave in and we went to this playground nearby tiong and had KFC after playing with that one little grey cat?

I remember how we went to kusu island and how you wanted to show me the giant turtle but we ended up having a scary ass encounter with the crazy daring monkey. Hahahaha these memories makes me smile.

Remember 2013 New Year's Day at Clarke Quay and my artificial digital fireworks? Remember the lazer quest at the Science Center, snorkeling at Adventure Cove. The memories of that backwards water slide will NEVER fail to make me smile bee. You're such an adorable puppy HAHAHAHA love you!

I remember we were otp once and just talking about our Little Stan (hey future kiddo if you're reading this, you've already been made plans for since your parents were 17 hehehe) and I just started tearing up because the words you said really touched me right in my heart. How you say you've already made plans and our jokes about who'd wake up to use the toilet first cause we're just sooooo lazy..

On a more recent note, I remember fondly on how we just ended our 3 day camp a few days ago and.. You suddenly said something which made my heart flutter non-stop.. "Beebz", your head was dipped sideways when we were at the traffic light, both of us waiting for the green man to light. I watched you, puzzled, knowing you'd only "B" me suddenly when you're in a serious mood. I stood there, wondering what it is you were about to say. "Don't it feel just like it's only been 5 days?" I felt so happy when you said that :-) I want many many more 5-days with you then.

I'll love you forever, forever and always. Through the good and the bad and the ugly. Beebz, we'll grow old together and always remember if for happy or sad or whatever. We'll still love each other, forever and always. Okay? :-)

Happy 1 year anniversary dear, it may be the millionth time I'm saying this but.. Honeybeeee, I really really really really really do love you.

I'm eternally thankful for having you close to my heart and I really pray that if God is above and know how much I want you in my life, to go through everything be it success or struggles all with you.

If anything should happen, please do know that you have been the best I have expected of you and.. Oh what am I saying? You are just always being the you beyond my expectations (even though I always say I can already anticipate your every move hahaha)

Dear, if for whatever reason this relationship don't work out in the future, (mmm yea probably only if I were to leave this Earth one day), I want to make sure that right now you know that you deserve the best for yourself. Don't you ever feel alone because I'm always gonna be with you, right there in your warm and puffin heart.

You ought to know that the past year has been a blast for me and that if for any reason I cannot spend the rest of your life together, you're still the beebz that if not forever, once did hold a very very very important place in my heart.

I guess it's redundant and super touch-wood to say this now but it just shows that I love you so much I just want you to be as happy as you can be wherever I may be.

Thank you for the past year Beebz. God has blessed me so much, you're the greatest gift and I can't ask for anyone better than you Stanley Chia De Xian a.k.a my dearest Beebi sweetie pie kissy monster lil puffin pumpkin pudding fatty cheeks sugarplum boothang le Stanley boy ;)

No one can ever take your place in my heart Beebz.

Why?

Because "Beebz - No replacements found".

REMEMBER: TOUJOURS GARDER LE SOURIER ;-)

Never lose yourself.

Hello guys, x

I've been away abit caught up with school, dance, and it's finally the term break :')
Feels like I've struggled and came quite far in terms of dealing and juggling with everything on hand. A round of applause? HAHAHA

Beebi's right, lots of things are changing around me..

I'm gonna get a change of maids, and I just really never liked it whenever this has to happen. There had been like what, 7-8 maids that came and left. People I've built close relationships with but were never meant to stay.. This time around, I really hope the family is gonna welcome Hazel and that we can live together without having any disputes.. Meanwhile I'll just enjoy my princess life with 2 maids aye? HAHAHA *YOU, WEAR MY LEFT SHOE. AND YOU, WEAR MY RIGHT SHOE" LOL

I've also been planning for lots of other forms of change, like I'm on my way to getting braces soon! Planning on having a navel piercing done and getting my hair dyed red end this month. I just can't wait! ;) it's no biggie like getting inked or anything but hey, a little change gives a round of freshness once in awhile and I like that! DID I MENTION I CUT A WHOLE LOT OF MY HAIR OFF? Impulse impulse impulse. It was during exam period so I guess I was a little driven over the edge hehehe. Right now my hair feels really healthy though so it's a good decision hahaha :)

Edit (14th June)

It's been awhile.

Don't know why this semester I just feel immersed in holiday mood despite exams coming round the corner. Maybe I just haven't had my panic attacks lol usually by now I'd be studying and writing notes like crazy! Wa cannot la this semester.. If I don't start properly revising soon I'm gonna get the same kind of results from Sem 1. :'(

I've 3 examinable modules for common test and I have a total of about 14 chapters to cover. I just feel no sense of urgency yet and I'm just lying here on my bed, being kept awake by my thoughts..

Alot has changed so far, been meeting up with Sobna a few times, Amirul too! Can't wait to meet the rest of my sec schl clique again because we've so many memories to relieve.. I feel the most at ease when I'm with them cause they're the ones who know me and have seen me almost every day since 5 years ago. Our conversations are always filled with heartfelt laughter, no doubts, no second thoughts. Just really miss them. :(

It's been so long yet I can't seem to find my fit in school except for a few close ones. I think to myself what I'm doing with my life sometimes. Hahaha okay la shouldn't exaggerate but I feel as though everyone has someone else alwaaaays. I have Stanley (hey beebi if you're reading this luv you) but not a solid group of friends I can look back on and tell my grandchildren about. (Hahahaha only someone like me can think of something like that huh)

Beebi and I were at the library today and we were scrolling thru FB and talking about how things are so different right now, and I just looked through some of my old blogposts. I remember how going to school was a bore yet I wake up everyday feeling excited to get to see the people I love. :) When we meet up now, we talk about how we wouldn't go by a day without laughing till we cry, wouldn't leave anyone out. We told each other about things that traumatized us, future things that worried us and even stupid mindless things. Hahaha the young and immature me did alot of stupid things in lower sec, but I mean those are what contributes to the memories that last till now!

Sitting by lot1's car park basement thinking we're some badass bunch of girls, hanging around everywhere, skipping classes and carving stuff everywhere.

I remember there was once my teacher punished me and my friend for talking in class and we sat outside the classroom carving our names on the wall lololol

I remember my mom coming down to school to sign on parental slips so many times because I'm always late, caught for (very stupid and stringent) attire, coloured hair and piercings... It was all a phase and yes haha nothing to be proud of and I definitely grew out of it. There was once I was called to speak to the counsellor because my teacher thought I was going thru alot of distress when she saw scars on my wrists. It was just Fel and I thinking it was cool hahaha we still get teased till now! What in the world were we thinking, buying penknife together at popular, hiding in the disabled toilet till the cleaners had to chase us out. HAHA

I remember taking LOTS of pictures and going home just to painstakingly use Photoscape to edit them. I have TONS of neoprints at home still! We loved taking neoprints so much there was once we got scolded for going into the arcade in school uniform!

Oh speaking of arcade reminds me of lot1's theater and only God knows how many times my friends and I would finish watching everything available hahaha. So many memories.

There was always one person we loved to tease in class, one teacher that was annoying as hell, the assemblies that took forever to end, the love at first sights, the rule breaking, the stressful periods.

If you ask me about the most memorable thing about poly I will never forget, I will only tell you about the period of time I got to know my boyfriend and DPA times. The rest is actually pretty mundane.

It's funny because now I remember a few weeks after DPA some of my friends told me I was really active and cray cray so they were thinking "Damn we're in the same course as her" lol then they laughed and said it's just their first impression but I guess it did kinda make me draw back a little because at that instant I realise I can't expect different people to be like the people I was used to in secondary school.

Kinda stuck out like a sore thumb.

Well now look at everyone! We changed through the months, it's already been more than a year..

A year. I can't wait for time to pick up speed. :(

Long ranty post.

Some updates for real though:

x. I just had a few assessments over and done with and I'm really happy with how things are right now! :'D Everyone's happy working with each other and things are alot better than I thought they were! :)

x. Stan Beebi's parents are getting better from their injuries I suppose so it's another piece of good news! :)

x. I just signed up for an Australia study trip and I honestly wanna go so bad but I'm going to miss my family and my boyfriend (he's so silly for thinking that i'd meet 1D there and forget him hahaha BEEBZ LEGIT you're better than all 5 of them combined ;) trust me) for one long week! I hope the application goes through fine :D I'm not so good with letters but better with interviews.. Cross fingers! :)

Till next time x
