#112. Holeeeey smokes!

Haven't exercised in awhile, I went downstairs for a much needed jog today after dance practise.

Needa work out moar to maintain a flat tummy and perhaps get a TONED one too hahahahaha. Have i mentioned on here that I'm considering getting a navel piercing doneeee? I'm worried though because Fel scared me so much I'm thinking thrice about it LOL

Anyho it wan't a very smart idea heading to buy paint straight after.. I thought I could handle walking to Lot 1 from my place after the run, but I never considered how heavy paint could be LOL Someone tell me why I'm such a nuthead? This kinda thing also never consider, in the end cause I didn't bring my card out to take the bus............

Sooooooo! Painting is really tedious.. I kinda forgot how inconvenient painting is. When was the last time I painted something? Cambodia? Hahaha no it was this DPA project thing.. Oh that time it was pretty fun.. Fun fact about me I used to paint old kaya jars to gift my Dad & Mom because I was creative like that HAHAHA and I painted art to put up around the house when I was younger. "Art" is subjective okay in my POV still pretty good! :p

I digressed.. Back to how painting is onehelluva tiring job...

I had to wipe the entire wall with WARM water ('Cause scotch tape and blue tacks don't work well with normal temperature water)
My dad recently bought this new water heater which I couldn't and can't be bothered to figure how to use.. So I boiled water on a stove and went around my house to find a suitable pail. Only when I got to the toilet did I realise I could've just used warm water from the shower head -_- *facepalm
I had to move furniture away from the wall (Duh right? I seriously didn't consider this LOL damn tiring) and cover up the entire floor with newspaper AND a plastic sheet cause my dad would freaaaaak if paint landed on the wooden floor
I couldn't get the tin of paint open.. I thought the lid would just pop open like how you'd open biscuit tins? NO IT DIDN'T. And when I finally pried it open I realised I needed something long and thick enough to stir the paint. LOL CRAP guess whaaaaat I just used an old birthday cake knife.. You know the plastic ones that comes free with a cake? HAHAHHA it's the best I could find..
CORNERS AND SIDES OF THE WALL ARE SUPER HARD TO GET TO. So annoyed with painting sides without getting paint elsewhere!
And....... I got paint not on the floor/furniture/bed but on MEEEEEEE. I stepped on paint, got paint on my elbow when I crawled about the plastic sheet to paint the bottom, paint on my face even! The worse was getting paint on my nails 'cause I had to remove my nail polish aftermath lololol I was chatting otp while painting and forgot to put my gloves back on :/ Those glove stunk anyway..

Goodbye gold&black nails :(

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GUYS if y'all think that painting a wall is just as easy as slathering jam on bread then you are sooososososo wrong........ Hahaha or maybe it's just me la I think I spent 3 out of those 4 hours "painting" doing everything else other than paint. HAHA but it's super worth it okay because a pop of colour really brightens up a room. Wheeeeeeeee.

Anyway I have more plans for that blank space. Gonna spice it up and add framed photos, maybe paint patterns on it (this needs alot of convincing hahahah my determination for paiting just went from Level 100 to Level 5 HAHAHA), or add in other kinda details! So in the mood for d-i-y this holiday. ;)

Gahh it's the time of the year when so many of my friends are now overseas or working! I wanna travel too! :( Anywhere as long as I can take a plane and get out of Singapore for a little bit.

Met up with Fel and headed to town for some therapeutic shopping >> Charis came over to my place and we went out again a few days after to celebrate her birthday >> Met up with the Chinkys that evening to celebrate dear Jiaen's birthday too.

It was surprisingly a bigger-than-usual Chinky crowd andddd the place we went to was amaaaazing really! The ambience was really really good. The seating areas are just wow and I was feeling sleepy halfway because the seats had cushions! HAHA just perfect. The restaurant's called Conerstone @ somewhere in Bishan Park...... IKR I only thought bishan park's got Macdonalds hahahaha. Love love loveeeed it! Really enjoyed catching up with some I haven't seen in awhile. :)

Bought Jiaen a bunch of rilakuma stuff from both j8 and Bugis+. HAHAHA probably the best day of her life :p Added together with MORE rilakuma stuff and 12 cupcakes she wanted to haveee so badly!

Meeting up with her, chatting about the old days really made me realised how much things have changed for the both of us. I really missed her company. :(

New booties and flats!

*Those new flats were literally a pain :( Haven't worn those kinda shoes in awhile, gave me horrible blister when I went for BAS Inauguration. Thankfully there wasn't much walking involved that day and a new friend I made had plasters phew. :')

It was hilarious how this lady came out of nowhere when we were eating our Oreo Cheesecake (WHICH WAS V. V. YUMMY BTW) and told us about this membership card.. I didn't want it so Charis took it as the whole "birthday celebration package". HAHAHA! we sucked so bad at Chinese we actually requested for someone who could speak English to explain what in the wooooorld the lady was trying to say! *ashameddd*

I forgot to bring the card I made for her SIAN shall just pass it to her the next time I see her again.

This woman stuck with me through thick&thin. There is so much I owe her, so I lent her my ears while she ranted on and on about ALL THE MALE SPECIES INVOLVED IN HER LIFE. HAHAHA.

She keeps insisting I should go back to Chingay but HEEEEEELLLLL NO I don't need the extra drama! HAHAHA Charis I still love you alot but your drama really too much ah!

Getting sick of my fringe which is taking sucha long time to grow out.. :(

In the train while I was headed to meet the Chinkys we both encountered creepos HAHA I was texting and Charis suddenly whispered telling me that there were two different groups of people staring in our direction, but when I looked at them they quicky turned their heads. HAHA so I was teasing her and telling her to beware bcos they're gonna follow her home when I get off because she's too attention grabbing. Long afterwards she tweeted me saying they didn't look anymore after I left. NOW THAT'S KWEEEPEE.
