Cornrows for BAOC, my first! :-)
Really really like how mine came out when I saw how others' looked hahaha. It's the photo with the highest like count on my IG too hehe yay
I guess there's definitely a plus side to doing it without the rest of the girls! I was kinda sad cus I had major sore eyes on Friday last week and couldn't bear to leave my house with such poofy eyelids.. Stayed home instead and Beebz went along with me to FEP to get the cornrows done the next day! ^-^
After BAOC I took those damn cornrows off immediately thou.. They look good but too annoying to have cus I'm too used to brushing my fingers through my hair.. It is a little uncomfortable sleeping with it BUT i guess it's not too bad, quite windy (AND EMPTY FEELING) too, so now I know how guys feel when they've got such short hair.. maaaaaan!
Hmm but i think it's a lil gross when I think about how my scalp don't really get washed when I shampoo and my scalp is one helluva sensitive oneeeeee. T-T
On a side note, Beebz & I watched quite a few movies last week..
x Oz: The Great & Powerful
x The Croods
x Princess and the seven kungfu masters
(Which I fell asleep halfway watching.. Don't get chinese kungfu comedy haha)
I think there was more? Don't really remember D:
Hmmmm, moving onnnnn!~
I stayed over w Beebz for 3 days. Hehehe so glad to spend some quality time (or maybe just lazing around.. Ummmmm it's just what we do best lolol) and learn a little Texas Poker with his cousin. :-) Beebz's always "on the game" and typetypetyping away.. Always so sleepy after mealtimes, sigh worse than a lazy worm omgee. Not like me. Always so active and making my life productive every single day hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
We were so happy when we found out we got into the same class, YES SAME CLASS for a module called "Understanding Relationships". HAHAHA how fitting huh! We last minute do our balloting and put all our choices exactly the same, I'm so shocked we managed to squeeze ourselves into the most popular module. I mean like what are the chances right? I'm still quite amazed as I'm typing this hahaha. Or maybe it's like a sign from God because our relationship needs a little nudge here and there. LOL. AD already la this module, right bee? ;) Even fate's helping us. :p
So lucky uh, I was really hoping I won't end up in Interior design, heng heng hennngggg.
I really really regret x100 helping my mum to work her bus job seriously.. 6pm is such an unconventional weird ass time to head to yewtee and spend 1hour plus in a small van with 11 kids.. Yeah i didn't really have much of a choice and it's pretty easy money but the timing.. ugh.
Had to skip evenings of BAOC every single day and I couldn't head out with my Beebz without leaving halfway :-( Speaking of that! We met real early this morning to make up for that and headed to Adventure Coveeee hehehe there wasn't really many thrilling rides and stuff but I had a pretty good time with my darling dearest! :)
188 from CCK to HBF is no joke.. REALLY long bus ride. :( Freezing one too!!!!! Beebi immediately became my heater when I finally alighted that moving fridge hahaha! We wanted to head there from the broadwalk but yep because we're lazy people.. We gave up on that thought.. After filling ourselves with our Subways we flewwwwwwwwww to Adventure Cove! :3
I'm really fascinated with the snorkeling part of the waterpark, I've never "swam" with fishes before, I was kinda scared at first but JUUUUUUST only ah. Hahahaha and I didn't regret it cus it was really really beautiful. Despite the salty AND COLD 16 DEG freshwater I swallowed by mouthfuls, I think it's a pretty memorable experience.. You just had to put on all your life vests, mask and snorkling device and swim right into a tank filled with lots and lots of colourful fishes. It's so close up it's as though you put yourself into BBC when they're filming documentary wildife fishes in the ocean hehe. It kinda looks like this:
And like right up in your face! You can even touch them if you go close enough haha I'm abit scared and one tiny fish brushed through my fingers as if trying to say "hey it's ok" ^-^ Obv those pictures are off google and stuff not as vibrant and pretty but.. CLOSE ENOUGH YEA. Really really nice. :)
Hung by the lazy pool, tsunami place and a few rides.. Really good time spent with my dear boy and time flew to 3pm really quickly! Thank God for the good weather cus Beebz' already peeling from the prev time he went there! Poor thing. :(
Had a very quick chopchop lunch at Pasta mania, walked beebz almost home and headed off to work! :)
Moving on!
Bountiful Byzantines, Prestigious Pirates, Gallant Gladiators, Spectacular Samurais, Kingly Knights, Magnanimous Maoris, Zealous Zulus, Heroic Huns.
BAOC 2013.
BAOC Heroic Huns 12.
I never really expected much from BAOC honestly cause my experience as an SC last year wasn't much, but really I've been proven otherwise this year. It's the company that really really counts.
For the SCs, I was a little disappointed when I realised I was placed in a group apart from my clique. I thought it was really unfair how some of my other friends got to be in the same subgroup as all the TRM peepz. You see, we HH12 SCs all started out not knowing each other but now there's this special bond between all of us. :)
Hmm, I don't know if it'll last, but we've gone a pretty long way since day 1 of prep. I didn't go to the chalet, went for prep almost only once every week and left at 5pm every single day of BAOC but cheering with you guise, thinking of how to get our freshies to open up, going cray cray and watching how you guys lead and writing those cards for them (oh yeah, subtribe 12 sweetest tribe :D) really allowed me to connect with y'all somehow. Wouldn't have had the same experience without y'all. Being put away from my clique is a good thing because I'm encouraged to speak to more people therefore creating a pretty rewarding experience at the end of camp. :-)
As for the Freshies, some of them were really enthu and initiative and we're all appreciative from the bottom of our hearts. To the quieter ones, they also supported us even in their little silent ways. Some of them may have made the most of this experience, talk nonsense sing song make as much friends with freshies or SCs, whatever it is, good for them cus they had a great kickstart into life in poly already. Some of them have been unresponsive, even blatantly and outrightly just not willing to step out of their comfort zones. All I have to say to those few is just goodluck to them and that they'll break out of their shell somehow or rather. :)
Aites it's been a long post! Till the next update, xx
